What is an EICR?

EICR is short for ‘Electrical Installation Condition Report'. An EICR is also known as a variety of things such as 'Electrical Safety Check', 'Landlord Electrical Certificate' and 'Test & Inspect'. You may need an EICR check of your property for a variety of reasons, these can include: 

• Selling/Buying a property 

• Landlord obligations

• Safe guarding your family from electrical fires and danger 

• Something isn't working properly and you don't know why

Why else would I need an EICR?
